Kaj Pindal, the 82-year old award-winning animator will vitalise the history of animated cartoons by showing selected films from different eras and tell anecdotes from his lifelong tenure in the world of animated cartoons.
There will also be a chance to watch some of his own masterpieces such as his latest film series “Peep and the Big Wide World” for which he received an EMMY in 2005 as the best animation TV-programme for children in the USA. It is the story about Peep, Chirp and Quack, three little very simply and charmingly drawn animated characters who through their curiosity and adventures in the big wide world introduce pre-school children to scientific subjects.
